Mimosa Systems Names Michael Sheridan CFO

Seasoned Finance Executive Assumes Leadership Position for Next-Generation Email, File and SharePoint Archiving Leader

Santa Clara, Calif. – August 25, 2009 – Mimosa Systems, the leader in next-generation email, file and SharePoint archiving solutions, today announced that it has named Michael Sheridan as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Sheridan joins Mimosa with more than 22 years of experience as a senior financial executive overseeing the management of finance, operations, treasury, investor relations, human resources and legal departments. Most recently, Sheridan was CFO of Playlist Inc., a global music and entertainment service. Prior to Playlist, Sheridan was CFO of Facebook, Inc., a leading social networking site. Prior to Facebook, Sheridan held CFO positions at IGN Entertainment, Inc. (acquired by News Corp in 2005) and Sonicwall, Inc., which had its initial public offering in 1999.  Prior to SonicWall, Sheridan held senior finance positions at Genesys Telecommunications Labs, Inc., and Network Appliance, Inc. In all, Sheridan has an extensive record in transaction-based financial management including three initial public offerings, several private equity and debt financings and several acquisitions ranging in size from $2 million to $650 million.
